I'M HERE!!!!

Hello everyone! I have made it here :) My name is Olivia Michelle Marquez and I was born on Saturday September 6th, 2008 @ 11:22am. I am 19 inches long.


Here is the scoop, I was making mommy real uncomfortable on Friday. She went to the hospital that night around 8:30pm. Although, her contractions were extremely painful, it was taking a very long time to progress. Luckily, the nurses could tell and didn't send her home. They gave her some morphine to help, but that didn't do much. But she was able to go into the labor and delivery and was given an epidural at 3 centimeters. But I wasn't budging. Turns out Mommy was having a tough time because I was resting face up instead of down, thats why Mommy was having such bad back labor. She was delighted by the drugs and numbness :) That was around 3:30am. By 9am. she was still barely 4 centimers. But, thanks to the amazing nurses helping her and her dead-weight legs move positions I turned around and then I was ready quick! What was told to us would be another 5 to 6 hours, all happened in about an hour. When I turned around, I caused Mommy to be fully dilated in an hour. The nurses said push (before Mimi could make it back in time :( ) and I was out and screaming in 20 minutes. Mommy was so lucky to have Daddy around. He was so helpful and there for her every step of the way! Mommy and Daddy were in love with me instantly. They said it was the best day of their lives!! They keep saying I am wonderful, beautiful, perfect.....

We are home now and settling in. Charlie is trying to figure out who I am and why I am here. Enough with me, I am tired (and hungry)! Here are some pictures from my latest adventure! I can't wait to meet you all! We will be at home so just give us a call if you want to come by!
